The Cobscook Bay Road Races take place in Pembroke, Maine, on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The event is organized by Bold Coast Runners and benefits Down East Hospice, a volunteer hospice program providing cost-free care in Washington County, Maine. The course begins near Route 1, follows the western reaches of Cobscook Bay, and finishes at Pembroke’s Reversing Falls. The 10k course is USATF certified (ME17004JK). Three participation options are offered for 2026: in-person on May 31, Run On Your Own (ROYO) during a set window before the race, and fully virtual participation with time and photo submission. Awards for the 5k and 10k include top overall finishers by male, female and non-binary categories, age-group awards (ranges listed from "14 and under" through "75+"), top walkers, and a prize for the top Pembroke resident.
