1st Annual 5 K RUN THE RUNWAY
The inaugural 5 K RUN THE RUNWAY takes place in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. This running event features a specialized course located at the Giddens Memorial Airport, where participants run directly on the airport runway.

Established in 2026, the event requires online registration in advance, as there is no registration available on the day of the race. Participants who were registered for the previous year's event, which was cancelled due to weather, are eligible for a refund of their entry fee upon verification of their registration status from that period. The event supports the charity Charlotte County Cancer. The course is not officially certified but offers a flat surface suited for running on aviation infrastructure.
