Boyden Lake Half-Marathon, Perry ME
The Boyden Lake Half-Marathon is a community running event held on April 12, 2026, at Pottle Tree Farm in Perry, Maine. The course is a loop that encircles Boyden Lake and passes through forested areas, rolling hills, and open fields. The route offers natural views and occasional wildlife sightings. The start and finish are at Pottle Tree Farm.
Events and distances:
- Half-Marathon: 13.1 miles around Boyden Lake.
- Walk: out and back 5 miles or 2.5 miles.
- Half-Marathon Para Division: para competition following World Para Athletics divisions.
- Half-Marathon Relay: two- or three-person teams, legs of 5.4, 3.62, and 4.22 miles.
- Ruck: 13.1 miles or 5 miles with a required pack of at least 35 pounds carried on the shoulders.
The event supports veteran-focused organizations through proceeds and fundraising. Aid stations are placed on course with water and Gatorade at four locations. Athletes with disabilities are welcome and divisions are defined to promote equitable competition. Age minimums vary by event. A post-race potluck lunch is planned at the Pottle Tree Farm barn and finishers receive a T-shirt and finisher item; awards are given across divisions and age groups.
