Coatesville VA Strides to Prevent Suicide 5K Run/Walk
This event is a timed 5K run/walk held on 09/19/2026 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd, Coatesville, PA, Lot D. The event raises awareness and directs proceeds to suicide prevention efforts for Veterans receiving care at the Coatesville VAMC.
Registration opens 2026-04-29 and closes 2026-09-08. Regular civilian registration fee is $35.00; veterans and active duty service members may register free. Late civilian registration is $40.00 and same day registration is accepted; for late registration after August 26 a T-shirt size is not guaranteed.
The course is on campus with street surface suitable for running and walking. Amenities include event T-shirts in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2X, and 3X, refreshments, water stations, and participant medals. Results will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co. and published by that timing company.
Awards are provided for top overall finishers and for veterans/service members, plus age group awards. Specific awards include first place overall female and male, first place female and male veteran/service member, and top female and male finishers in the age groups 1-19, 20-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-99.
