Coatesville VA Strides to Prevent Suicide 5K Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K run/walk held at the Coatesville VA Medical Center campus, Lot D, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320. The event is organized to raise awareness and support suicide prevention efforts for Veterans receiving care at Coatesville VAMC.
Registration opens April 29, 2026 and closes August 25, 2026. The regular civilian registration fee is $35. The event is free for Veterans and active duty service members. Late civilian registration is $40; same day registration is accepted. For late registrations after August 26 a T-shirt size is not guaranteed.
Amenities on the campus include a street-surface route, participant T-shirts (sizes S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X), refreshments, water stations, and medals. The 5K will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co. Race results will be provided by the timing company.
Awards include first place female and first place male plus top runner awards by age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over.
