CVIM Presents Dr. Mary's Legacy Run
Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) presents the 3rd Annual Dr. Mary’s Legacy 5K Run and Family Walk on September 12, 2026 at West Goshen Community Park in West Chester, PA. The event combines a timed 5K run, a community walk and a short-distance Kids Fun Run held in the park.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall runners and to the top male and top female in each age group: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-99. Additional awards include Best Costume, Largest Team, and Highest Fundraising Team. Creative costumes are encouraged but not required.
Registration fees listed by the organizer are $35 for the 5K and the Walk and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. Registration for the 5K and Walk opens April 28, 2026 and closes September 5, 2026. Kids Fun Run registration opens June 24, 2026 and closes on the day of the event.
Proceeds support CVIM’s provision of free, comprehensive health care to low-income, working members of the community in the Chester County region. All event costs will be covered for CVIM by an anonymous friend. Participants with chronic medical conditions are advised to check with their physician before taking part.
