Coach Yantis 5K Turkey Trot
The Coach Yantis 5K Turkey Trot takes place on November 21, 2026 at the Cunningham Center on the campus of MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. The event raises funds for a MidAmerica Nazarene University endowment scholarship, the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge KC, and Olathe Public Schools grants via a local community partner.

- 3.1 miles Coach Yantis 5K Run & Walk
- Tot Trot for ages 1-12
- Virtual Coach Yantis 5K Run & Walk
Timing chips are provided to all participants. Check-in, packet pickup, bibs, timing chips, and t-shirt distribution are handled inside the foyer of the Cunningham Center on race day. An informational email is sent to participants two weeks before the event with final details.
Registration opens August 12, 2026. In-person 5K registration closes October 19, 2026; Tot Trot and virtual event registration remain open until November 21, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $20.00 for the in-person 5K, $5.00 for the Tot Trot, and $20.00 for the virtual 5K.
Participants are encouraged to bring three to five non-perishable food items for the local Salvation Army Outpost food pantry and drop them at the donations table on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
