COACH ARCHIE DURAN MEMORIAL 5K RUN & 1 MILE FUN WALK
The event is scheduled for April 12, 2026, at Nations Tobin Park, 8831 Railroad Dr., El Paso, TX 79904. It is the 7th annual Coach Archie Durán Memorial walk/run. The event honors the life and legacy of a former local high school teacher and coach. Proceeds benefit the Coach Archie Durán Memorial Fund, a non-profit that provides scholarships to El Paso area students and funds for teachers to buy school supplies.

The individual registration fee is $30. Team registration is $30 per team member. Online registration is $30 plus applicable fees. Registration fees are non-refundable. Pre-race packet pick up is on Saturday April 11 at Hoppy Monk, 4141 N Mesa St, from 12PM to 4PM. Race day packet pick up and registration will be available at the start line from 7AM to 7:45AM.
All participants receive a T-shirt. The first 200 registrants receive a finisher medal and additional swag. Awards include a trophy for the overall male and female in the 5K and medals for the top three finishers in male and female age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & over.
