Event Details

The Coach Archie Duran Memorial 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk is scheduled for April 12, 2026. It is a farewell event honoring the life and legacy of a former high school teacher and coach. The event takes place at Nations Tobin Park in El Paso, Texas.

Charitable Purpose

All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Coach Archie Duran Memorial Fund. This foundation provides scholarships to students in the El Paso area.

Registration and Perks

Early individual registration is $25 until February 28, 2026, after which the price increases. Every participant receives an event T-shirt. The first 200 registrants also receive a finisher's medal and additional SWAG items.

Awards

Awards are given for the 5K event. Trophies are presented to the overall male and female winners. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups.

Packet Pickup

Pre-race packet pickup is available on Saturday, April 11th, at a specified local venue. Race day packet pickup and registration are available at the start line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
