Kickin' Asphalt 5K and 1Mile Fun Run/Walk

This event takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026. It is held at Ascarate Park in El Paso, Texas.

Two events are offered:

5K Run
1 Mile Fun Walk

The first 300 registered participants receive a race t-shirt. Standard registration fees are $30 for adults and $25 for military personnel and participants under 18 years old. A team discount of $5 per person is available for groups of 10 or more. Race day registration costs $35, but team discounts do not apply on that day.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, April 16th (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) and Friday, April 17th (9:00 am - 8:00 pm) at the Center for Children on 2200 N Stevens, Bldg C, in El Paso. Race day pickup is only available for bibs.

In the 5K Run, trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female runners. Medals are given to the top three finishers in various age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
