12th Annual CMSAF Binnicker Memorial Run presented by Eglin Federal Credit Union
The event takes place on October 3, 2026 in Shalimar, Florida at 92 Sunset Lane. It is the 12th annual running event under this name and includes both in person and virtual participation options.
Event distances include:
- 9K - in person run and virtual option available
- 5K - in person run and virtual option available
- 5K Walk - in person and virtual options available
- 1 Mile - fun run in person
Registration fees vary by event. The first 300 registrants in the 9K and 5K receive an official event shirt and a commemorative coin. Registered participants receive items such as an official event shirt, commemorative coin, commemorative bib, a customizable fundraising page, and a printable race certificate once results are submitted. The 1 Mile Fun Run has a lower registration fee and includes opportunities for recognition and prizes.
A post event gathering with music from a DJ, food, drinks, and an awards ceremony is planned. Net proceeds benefit the memory care wing at Air Force Enlisted Village's assisted living residence, Hawthorn House, and provide care and support for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
