Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 3/3
The event is a trail 5 km race held on a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway. The course runs as two laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, run anti-clockwise from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The route has about 25 m of elevation over the 5 km.
This race is the third in a three race autumn series on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026. It is open to entrants aged 11 and over. Prizes are awarded in each race and the course is described as well marshalled. Parking is available locally, including a lower car park at the Sailing Club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.
Entries open on 21 March 2026 and close on 16 September 2026. The published entry fee is £6.50. Monies from the series will be donated to local causes. The organising group, RunJMC, is licensed under ARC pending.
