Cross Keys Road & Fell Relay
The Cross Keys Road & Fell Relay is a team relay for four runners held in Uppermill on 19 September 2026. Each team completes two road legs and two fell legs. The road legs are run as two laps of a hilly circuit; the fell leg is a single lap on an undulating course over Saddleworth Moor.
Distances per leg:
- Road leg (2 laps): 3m 650ft
- Fell leg: 2.5m 800ft
Entry is by team and the entry fee is £20 per team. Category rules specify team composition and age requirements: Men Open and Women Open require two road and two fell runners aged 18 or older; Mixed requires one female road, one female fell, one male road, one male fell (all 18+); Men Vets and Women Vets require all competitors aged 40 or older; Juniors are for ages 16 or 17 only (two road and two fell); Any combination (no prize) allows teams from age 16 or older.
