Clowbridge 5k - Spring 2/3

This event is a trail 5 km race held on a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway around Clowbridge Reservoir. The course is two laps of the trail path around the reservoir, run anti-clockwise from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The route is described as fast and flat with about 25 m of elevation over the 5 km.

The event is part of a three-race spring series on 16 April, 23 April and 30 April 2026. It is open to participants aged 11 and over. Prizes are awarded in each race and marshals are provided along the course.

Entries are open from 1 January 2026 and close on 22 April 2026. The stated entry fee is £6.50. Parking is available locally, including the lower car park at the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir. Monies from the series will be donated to local causes.
