Event Overview

The Clowbridge 5k - Spring 3/3 is a trail running event held on Thursday, 30th April 2026. It is the third race in a three-event spring series, with the other races held on the 16th and 23rd of April.

Course Details

The event is a 5 km trail run on a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway. The course is described as fast and flat with 25m of elevation gain over the 5 km distance. It consists of two anti-clockwise laps on a trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir.

The event is open to participants aged 11 and over. There will be prizes awarded in each race, and the course will be well marshalled.

Location & Parking

The race starts from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley (BB11 5PF). Participants are asked to park sensibly in the local area, with parking available in the lower car park at the Sailing Club or on Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.

Additional Information
