About the race

Clowbridge 5k – Autumn 2/3 is a trail 5k race organised by RunJMC near Burnley, Lancashire. The course comprises two anti-clockwise laps of a popular Pennine Bridleway–adjacent trail around Clowbridge Reservoir, starting from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road. It’s described as fast and flat with around 25 metres of elevation over 5km, open to runners aged 11 and up.

The event is the second of a three-race Thursday series in September 2025, with prizes and well-marshalled support. Entry is £6.50, and monies from the series are donated to local causes. Perfect event for your Club Championships. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
