Event Overview
The Clinic for Special Children 5K is a community event featuring multiple activities. The primary event is a chip-timed 5K race (3.1 miles). There is also a 1.5-mile Family Walk and a Kids Color Run for children ages 10 and under. The event is scheduled for May 16, 2026.
Location and Course
All activities start and end at the Leola Produce Auction at 135 Brethren Church Rd in Leola, Pennsylvania. The 5K course follows rolling roads through Lancaster County farmland, passing Amish schoolhouses and farms. Strollers and mobility devices are permitted on the course.
Activities and Registration
The event includes three main activities:
- 5K: A chip-timed race.
- 1.5-mile Family Walk: A walking option.
- Kids Color Run: A free fun run for children 10 and under; registration is required.
Packet and bib pickup is available on the event day. A race t-shirt is guaranteed for those who register for the 5K or Family Walk by April 21, 2026, and is available while supplies last after that date.
