Clinic for Special Children 5K
The Clinic for Special Children 5K is a fundraising event held near the Leola Produce Auction in Leola, Pennsylvania (135 Brethren Church Road, Leola, PA 17540). The event program includes multiple participation options:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Kids Color Run for children ages 10 and under
- 1.5 mile Family Walk
The chip timed 5K follows a 3.1 mile course along rolling scenic roads through Lancaster County farmland, passing Amish schoolhouses and farm acres. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome on the course. The 5K and the family walk start and end near the Leola Produce Auction, with on site parking available.
A kid’s color fun run for children ages 10 and under takes place after the 5K and family walk; registration is required for the color run. Proceeds from the event benefit the Clinic for Special Children. Awards include medals for the first overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in age categories from 14 and under through 70 and over.
The organizer may cancel or alter the event for unsafe conditions; registration fees may be treated as donations if the event is canceled. No refunds or mailed awards and shirts are provided if the event is canceled. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
