Event overview
The Clinic for Special Children 5K is scheduled for May 16, 2026 in Leola, PA 17540. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a kid’s color run. The course is a 3.1-mile route along rolling roads through Lancaster County farmland, passing Amish schoolhouses and farms. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. Proceeds benefit the Clinic for Special Children.

Registration opens January 31, 2026. Entry fees: $35 for the 5K if entry and payment are received by April 21 (includes a t-shirt), $40 after April 21 with t-shirt while supplies last, and $10 for the kid’s color run. Registration options listed include online, mailing a paper application with payment to PO Box 500, Intercourse, PA 17534, or registering in person on race day.
Location, awards and policies
The course starts and finishes near the Leola Produce Auction at 135 Brethren Church Road, Leola, PA 17540. Medals will be awarded to the first overall male and female finishers. Awards are also given to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The race organizer may cancel the event for unsafe conditions; if canceled, registration fees will be considered donations. No refunds, mailed awards, or mailed t-shirts will be provided.
