Race Details
The US Road Running event in Manheim, Pennsylvania, takes place on the Lancaster Junction Trail. This race offers two main distances:
- 5K
- 10K
Participants must register in advance through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is available at the race location, starting 30 minutes before the event begins and concluding 10 minutes prior to the start. Public bathrooms are located within the parking lot area for participant use.
Course Information
The race is held on a shaded course consisting of compact gravel surfaces. Both distance categories utilize an out-and-back loop that measures 1.04 miles in total. Runners participating in the 5K complete this out-and-back circuit three times. Those participating in the 10K complete the circuit six times. There is a course time limit of 2:00 hours for all participants.
Participation and Awards
All finishers receive a themed medal upon completion of their race. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing participants to earn points. While not mandatory, runners are encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photo is taken at the beginning of the event. A special award is presented for the best costume.
