Event Details

The Run for the Haven 5K takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Calvary Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The event supports The Haven of Lancaster, a life and learning community for Afghan refugees in the county. The event offers three activities: a timed 5K run, a non-timed 1 Mile fun run/walk, and a virtual challenge where participants can run or walk any distance during the race week.

Course and Timing

The 5K event will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co. Age group awards are given for the 5K. Online maps are available to view the 5K and 1 Mile courses. The 1 Mile fun run/walk is not timed.

Registration and Perks

Early registration is $35 per person, with prices increasing on the weekend of the race. A special rate of $20 is available for children 12 and under with a registered adult. The virtual challenge costs $40 for adults and $30 for children. Participants who register by March 15, 2026, are guaranteed a custom race shirt, with extra shirts available afterward while supplies last.
