Run for the Haven 5K
The Run for the Haven 5K takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601. The event supports The Haven of Lancaster, a life and learning community for Afghan refugees that provides a safe space for community building, healing, and cultural adaptation.
Distances offered include:
- 5K (3.1 miles), professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co.
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, not timed.
- Virtual Challenge, run or walk any distance during the week of the race.
5K awards recognize the top three male and female overall finishers and the top male and female in each age group (1-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+). Runners registered by March 15 will receive a custom race shirt; additional shirts are available afterward while supplies last. Virtual participants will be mailed the official race shirt the week following the event.
Pricing details at the time of publication list early registration through March 27 at $35 per person, race weekend registration at $40 per person, and a rate of $20 for children 12 and under when registered with an adult.
