Cleveland Metroparks Whiskey Island 5K
The event is a timed 5K run/walk held on August 23, 2026 at Cleveland Metroparks Lakefront Reservation, Wendy Park. The course uses sections of the park's newest trails, including the Whiskey Island Trail and Wendy Park Bridge. The race is part of the Cleveland Metroparks Race Series presented by CrossCountry Mortgage.
Registration opens March 9, 2026 and pre-registration pricing runs through August 21 at $30. From August 22 through race day the fee is $35. Race day registration is available online only.
All finishers receive a custom medal and a race t-shirt. Post-race refreshments are provided. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Cleveland Metroparks K-9 Unit.
Dogs and single strollers are permitted; double strollers are not allowed. Participants with dogs or strollers are asked to line up at the back and to keep dogs on a short leash.
