CLEFTSTRONG 5K & Kids 1K : Confidence Classic
CleftStrong is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit event that raises funds for cleft and craniofacial patient care, research, and education. The event takes place in person at Eisenhower Park in San Antonio, TX, on Sunday, October 4, 2026, with virtual participation options available worldwide. Race registration proceeds support the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA); participant fundraising through the Kickstart Confidence 25 Challenge supports LEAP Global Missions.
Event options include:
- 5K Run/Walk timed or untimed; individual and team entries.
- 1K Confidence Classic Kids Run for children ages 4–12 with official timed results.
- Virtual race options with mailed race packets.
- Richie’s Pup Division with an optional $5 award challenge for dogs.
All finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal. Race shirts and guaranteed kit items are provided when registered by August 21. Awards and recognition include age-group medals, overall trophies, Top 3 pup awards, team prizes, and a Parent + Child Duo Costume Contest with a Superhero in Training theme. Dog rules require leashes, owner control, and current vaccinations; timed pup awards require the registered adult to have a timed bib.
