Classic at Mastick
Classic at Mastick is an annual community running event held at the South Mastick Picnic Area in Fairview Park, OH. The event has supported high school seniors since 1992 and has raised more than $320,000 for scholarships and related awards. Each year the organizers grant roughly $10,000 to $12,000 in scholarship funds.
The event offers pre-race packet pick-up at a local running store in Lakewood in the days before the race, and on race day at the South Mastick pavilion. Packets must be picked up by the individual participant; there is no team-affiliated pick up. Entries submitted after August 1 may receive a shirt at a later date.
Race services include a soft-fit event shirt, brand giveaways, a chip timed 5k, overall and age group awards, and pre- and post-race activities. Financial assistance for participation is available confidentially through the event organizers. Scholarship nominations may be submitted in writing to the organizers or at the local store associated with the event.
