The Classic at Mastick : Fairview Park, OH
The Classic at Mastick is a community running event held at the South Mastick Picnic Area in Fairview Park on August 12, 2026. The event includes a chip-timed 5K for men and women and a separate 2 Mile run for middle school runners. Registration fees listed for the races are $20 for each 5K entry and $10 for the 2 Mile.

Packet pickup takes place at Second Sole in Lakewood on the days before the event and at the South Mastick Picnic Area under the pavilion on race day. Packets must be picked up by individuals rather than by teams. Entries submitted after August 1 may receive shirts at a later date; shirts and other giveaways are part of the participant offerings.
Event features noted by the organizer include a soft-fit shirt, ASICS giveaways, chip timing for the 5K, overall and age-group awards, and pre- and post-race activities. The Classic at Mastick is also a scholarship fundraiser: more than $320,000 has been raised since 1992, and the event awards approximately $10,000 to $12,000 in scholarships each year.
