Run for Rainbow 5k

Event Information
The Run for Rainbow event raises money and awareness for University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. It is organized through the hospital foundation's Associate Board.
The event takes place at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The race fees include admission to the zoo for the entire day. Participants receive a short-sleeved t-shirt, post-race refreshments, and a wristband for zoo entry.
Available Distances
Participants can choose from several events:
- 5K Run/Walk: This is a chip-timed race.
- 1 Mile Walk: This event is not timed.
- Kids Fun Run: This is a 100 yard dash and is not timed.
- Supporter Admission: A wristband option for spectators.
Registration Details
Pre-registration is available. Participants who register by a specified date in early August will receive a t-shirt on race day. Race day registration and packet pick-up begin at 7:00 AM. Strollers are allowed at the zoo, but dogs are not permitted.
Awards and Policies
Awards are given to the top three men and the top three women overall in the 5K race. All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
