Date and location
The Clark Lake Run takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 3509 Ocean Beach Road, Clark Lake, MI 49234, USA. The event is part of the 2026 ORS Race Series. Proceeds support maintenance of the Thomas R. Collins Memorial Spirit Trail. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Dogs are not permitted at the event; service dogs are excluded from this restriction.

Registration opens January 1, 2026. Online registration closes Thursday, July 30 at 11:59 PM. In-person packet pick-up and registration is available Friday, July 31 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Beach Bar (3509 Ocean Beach Rd). Race-day registration is available starting at 7:00 AM (registration closes 8:15 AM). Special pricing of $20 applies from January 1 to January 15. Detailed entry-fee tiers and shirt options are listed for the 12K, 5K and kids run with earlier and later deadlines.
The 12K has a 90-minute time limit (12-minute pace). No one under age 12 may enter the 12K; the kids run is open to ages 11 and under. Overall awards are given to top male and female finishers in Open and Masters (40+) for the 12K, 5K run and 5K walk. Age-group awards go to the top three in each listed age group. Cash prizes are specified for top finishers and course/age records; no cash awards to those under 18 or with remaining college eligibility.
