City of Lakes Half Marathon
The City of Lakes Half Marathon takes place on September 13, 2026, in Minneapolis with the start at Beard's Plaisance on Upton Avenue South. The course runs along the parkways around Lake Harriet and Bde Maka Ska.
Online registration for the event is closed. The event partner Mile in My Shoes serves as the official charity partner for 2026. Fundraising figures shown are Raised 3,573.94 and Goal 3,000. Runners who raise 500 receive a guaranteed charity bib and event items including a 15% discount at Mill City Running and an exclusive Mile in My Shoes technical racing tee.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Minneapolis, 2312 W 50th Street, Minneapolis, 55410 on the following dates and times:
- Friday, September 4, 2026 from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm
- Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Friday, September 11, 2026 from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm
- Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Race day information notes gear drop is bring your own bag and label it with the bib number; gear will be moved to the finish area for retrieval. Parking is very limited and parkway access may be restricted after 7:15 am. The organizer publishes an inclusion policy that affirms a safe and respectful environment and describes possible consequences for violations. Transfers are available.
