City of Conway Under the Lights 5K Run/Walk
This event in December 2026 is a 5K run/walk presented by Conway Parks & Recreation in downtown Conway, South Carolina, with a course guided by holiday light displays and other festive features. The route passes through illuminated areas intended to create photo opportunities and a seasonal atmosphere.
Participants may wear holiday attire; a costume contest will award the top three costumes. All participants in the 5K receive a race packet, a t-shirt and a finisher medal. Available shirt sizes listed for registration include Youth Large, S, M, L, XL and XXL; shirts for late or same-day registration are available only while supplies last.
Awards are given following the 5K and include overall, masters and age-group prizes; some awards are based on gun time and others on chip time. Packet pickup is scheduled the week of the race at Conway Fitness Center, 1515 Mill Pond Rd, Conway, SC 29527.
Registration follows a tiered fee schedule beginning at $25 and increasing across several date ranges up to $50 in December. The event has a participant cap of 700. Course or route adjustments may be made in the event of flooding. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
