The Children's Recovery Center is a nonprofit child advocacy center that provides treatment and effective advocacy for children suspected of sexual abuse and physical abuse. The center works with community partners and conducts prevention and education efforts. It is registered as a 501(c)(3) organization.
The race start and finish are at Morse Park Landing, Hwy 17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. Packet pick up and on-site registration are available the day before at On The 1/2 Shell, 4500 Highway 17, Murrells Inlet, and on race day at Morse Park Landing.
Published entry fees vary by category. Examples include adult 5K $40, child 5K (14 and under) $30, adult 1 Mile $30, child 1 Mile $15, and 1 Mile free for children 7 and under.
