About the race
The Pink Ribbon Run is a fundraising running event in North Myrtle Beach organized with the Grand Strand Running Club. It raises money for local charities that assist families affected by cancer. The event offers individual race distances and a combined challenge that covers all three races in one morning. Tribute signs are available for personalization at a cost of $20 and 100% of that income is donated to local charities. Fundraising credit also benefits local charities and can earn credits toward future races and products.
Race distances include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Three Race Challenge totalling 10.3 miles
Courses run through Barefoot Resort with a common start and finish near the marina. The 10K and 5K courses are certified with USATF certification numbers provided. Certified professional timing will produce official results. Course support includes two water stops on the 10K, one water stop on the 5K, an aid station, and finish line food and beverages. Parking is provided at the House of Blues lot at 4640 Hwy 17 S with a free shuttle to the start area; the walk is about 0.75 mile. Packet pickup takes place Friday before the race at J.
