The Bunny Trail 5K Run/Walk
The Bunny Trail is an annual community 5K run and walk held at Bethpage State Park. The event is presented as the seventh edition and uses the park's grassy polo field and adjacent soft trails for its course.
The course begins on an open polo field and continues onto winding, scenic soft-surface trails through the Massapequas Lands area of Old Bethpage. The terrain includes a few small hills but is described as mostly flat with a cross country feel.
Event options include a virtual participation choice with a one week window to log times and up to five photos. Race bibs can be mailed for a fee if requested in advance; in-person bib pickup is also available near the event staging area. A race tee is offered.
Amenities listed for the event include an informal bag check, on-site restrooms within a short walk of the start and finish, hydration at the finish area, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Live online results and same-day finish line photos and video are available. Age group recognition is provided for top finishers overall and across standard age categories.
