NSRF The Bunny Trail 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run/walk held at Bethpage State Park on the Polo field and the park's soft, winding trails. The course begins on a grassy open polo field and continues onto scenic dirt and cross-country style trails with a few small hills and mostly flat sections. The setting is described as beginner-friendly while retaining a true cross-country feel.

On-site amenities include an informal bag check area, restrooms within a few minutes' walk of the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and refreshments provided by event sponsors. Participants can obtain a bib in person shortly before the event or have a bib mailed for a fee if registered in advance. Results are posted live online and via email or text, and same-day finish-line photos and free video are available.
A virtual participation option is offered. Virtual entrants may record distance on a track, treadmill, apps, or certified courses and may upload up to five photos when submitting their time during the event posting window. Age-group recognition is awarded for overall top finishers and for multiple male, female, and nonbinary age categories. Donations from the event benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation.
