The Bunny Trail 5K Run/Walk : April 4, 2026
The Bunny Trail 5K is a community run and walk held at Bethpage State Park, located at the "Polo at the Park" area with parking at the Bethpage State Park Playground. The event is scheduled for April 4, 2026 and is presented as the 7th annual edition. The event proceeds and donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.

The course begins on a grassy polo field and moves onto winding, soft trails through Bethpage State Park. The terrain includes a few small hills and is described as mostly flat with a cross country feel. Amenities listed for the event include an informal bag check, nearby bathrooms a few minutes' walk from the start and finish, hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Event apparel is available as a Bunny Trail tee and virtual participants receive shipped gear and a mailed bib when applicable.
Registration includes in-person and virtual options, a bib mailing add-on for a fee when requested in advance, and an option to add purchase protection for refunds under qualifying circumstances. Registration fees are non-refundable. Age group recognition is offered for top finishers by gender identity and by multiple age brackets.
