The Bunny Trail 5K Run/Walk (NSRF)
The Bunny Trail is a 5K trail run and walk held at Bethpage State Park with an additional free kiddie run. The event takes place on and around the polo field area called Polo at the Park, with parking available near the Bethpage State Park Playground.

The course begins on a grassy polo field and continues onto winding soft trails through Bethpage State Park. It includes a few small hills and mostly flat sections, and has been described as having a cross country style used for past collegiate competition. The event is scheduled rain or shine.
Event amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms a few minutes' walk from start and finish, on-site hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Participants may select a mailed bib option for a fee of $10 if registered at least ten days in advance; in-person bib pickup is available starting one hour before the event. Virtual participation is offered with a window of one week to log times and upload up to five photos; virtual bibs are mailed when gear ships.
Age group recognition is awarded for top finishers overall and across age categories from 14 and under through 90 plus. Proceeds and donations support the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on athletic and charitable events and athlete development.
