Aspire 10K Run/Walk, Plainview NY
The Aspire 10K Run/Walk takes place on April 4, 2026 at H.B. Mattlin Middle School in Plainview, NY. The event features a USATF certified 10K (6.2 miles) course routed through suburban streets and rolling countryside, with recorded 5K split times.
Participants receive an Aspire 10K shirt and a finisher medal; shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by March 21. The event offers live online, email and text results plus same-day finish line and 5K split photos available to participants. Post-race refreshments are provided and a post-race drawing awards prizes to attendees present at the drawing.
Awards recognize top overall male and female finishers, wheelchair competitors, masters and senior masters, and age-group winners across standard age divisions from youth to 90 plus. First place overall male and female receive a pair of Saucony Ride 18 shoes; second and third overall receive gift cards. Additional special awards include recognition for top local residents and cash prizes should overall course records be broken.
Registration includes early pricing tiers and race day options, with discounts available for GLIRC members, veterans, seniors (65+), and Town of Oyster Bay residents. Pre-race bib pickup is scheduled at Runner’s Edge in Farmingdale and race day pickup is available at the school. Proceeds benefit the Sunrise Association.
