Building Homes For Heroes: Honoring Our Heroes 5K Run/Walk
This event is a community 5K run/walk with an untimed kids fun run held at Eisenhower Park Field 2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY. Proceeds benefit Building Homes For Heroes. Registration is not yet open and notifications are available for when registration opens.

Event amenities include finisher medals for the first 150 finishers, a race t-shirt for all registrants, post-race water, post-race bananas, pre and post race stretching led by a professional physical therapy team, free finish line photos, live result delivery, and raffle activities. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance are eligible for a personalized bib. A digital bib option is provided for virtual participants.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups, including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. In-person bib pickup is available at the event and a lookup area is provided for participants who do not know their bib number.
