Circuit Du Sore Legs
The Circuit du Sore Legs is a running event held at Wodson Park Sports and Leisure Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. The event takes place on a traffic-free 400-metre athletics track. Participation is limited to 100 entrants, and the race operates under an ARC Licence.
Participants can choose from several distance options, which are determined by the number of laps completed on the track:
- 5k: 12.5 laps
- 10k: 25 laps
- Half Marathon: 52.75 laps
- Full Marathon: 105.5 laps
- 50k Ultra: 125 laps
- 6-hour challenge: Unlimited laps
The event uses chip timing to record results. Because the race is held on a circuit, supporters are able to see runners on every lap. Aid stations are positioned around the course to provide support throughout the duration of the event. This is a cupless event, so participants are required to bring their own cups or bottles for refilling at the water stations.
Facilities at the venue include free parking, toilets, and changing rooms located close to the track. Runners receive chip timing, race photos, and a bespoke medal upon completion. Complimentary tea, coffee, and cake are provided for all participants.
Registration takes place at the venue. Runners are expected to follow specific track etiquette, which includes overtaking on the right and using outer lanes for walking or slower paces to allow others to pass. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
