Circuit du Sore Legs
Circuit du Sore Legs is a track running event held at Wodson Park Sports Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. The event is in its sixth year and offers multiple timed and untimed options on a 400 metre athletics track. Laps are counted to determine distance, so GPS watch mileage may differ if runners use outer lanes.
Distances (based on lane 1)
- 5k = 12.5 laps
- 10k = 25 laps
- Half marathon = 52.75 laps
- Full marathon = 105.5 laps
- 50k ultra = 125 laps
- 6 hour challenge = unlimited laps
Event services include chip timing, bespoke medals, aid stations around the course, race photos, free parking, and toilets and changing rooms close to the track. The course is traffic free and clearly marked, with supporters able to see participants each lap. The entry is limited to 100 runners and the event holds an ARC licence. The event is cupless; runners should bring their own cups or bottles for refilling.
Registration guidance and race etiquette are provided on site. Organisers ask runners to arrive 30 to 45 minutes before their start time to collect numbers and hear the race briefing. Overtaking is on the right and walkers are asked to use outer lanes to keep the track clear. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
