Circuit du Sore Legs
Circuit du Sore Legs is a track running event held at Wodson Park Sports Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. It is the seventh edition of the event and is organised by Zig Zag Running.
The event is staged on a 400 metre athletics track. Distances and lap counts based on lane 1 are listed below:
- 5k - 12.5 laps
- 10k - 25 laps
- Half marathon - 52.75 laps
- Full marathon - 105.5 laps
- 50k Ultra - 125 laps
- 6 hour challenge - unlimited laps
Event features include chip timing, a bespoke medal for finishers, free parking, race photos, and refreshments (tea, coffee and cake) provided for runners. The course is traffic free, with toilets and changing rooms close to the track, aid stations around the course, and the opportunity to see supporters each lap. The event is limited to 100 entrants and holds an ARC licence. It operates as a cupless event so runners should bring their own cups or bottles for refilling.
Entrants should arrive 30 to 45 minutes before their start to collect race numbers and receive the race briefing. Overtaking is on the right and walkers are asked to use the outer lanes. Distance is recorded by counted laps multiplied by 400 metres; recorded watch distance may vary with lane choice. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
