The St Albans Festive "Double" Sixer
The St Albans Festive "Double" Sixer is a community running event in St Albans that covers 12 miles and visits 6 pubs. The course runs around the streets of St Albans and starts and finishes at the Lower Red Lion.
Participants stop at each of the six allocated pubs and receive one drink of their choice, typically beer, wine or a soft drink. The ticket price includes all six drinks and a commemorative glass, with at least £5 from each ticket donated to the charity YouthTalk. The event is limited to 100 people and this edition is the 15th running.
Entrants may participate as an individual, a team of three or a team of six. Registration and bag drop are based at the Lower Red Lion. Entrants are required to declare that they are medically fit to take part and to accept that they participate at their own risk. The organisers reserve the right to alter arrangements if circumstances require.
Organisers do not offer refunds, transfers or deferrals. If the event is cancelled for reasons beyond the organisers control, entrants will receive a credit note for the value of their entry fee minus the booking fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
