Cinnamon Bun Run, Plano

The Cinnamon Bun Run is scheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2027 at the Red Tail Pavilion in Plano, Texas. The event is organized by AMPT Running as the second annual Cinnamon Bun Run and benefits Patriot PAWS, a nonprofit that trains and provides service dogs at no cost to eligible veterans, first responders, and others.

The route passes through Oak Point Park and its nature preserve. All race participants receive a custom bib, a tech shirt, and a finisher medal. In-person finishers are offered a complimentary cinnamon roll and coffee. A virtual participation option was offered in 2026 with mailed race packets for US continental addresses that included shirt, medal, and bib.
