Pre-registration for the 5K is listed at $25 (plus processing fee) until the Thursday before the race; the fee is $30 after that and on race day. The Kids Fun Run is free for children 8 and under. The Competitive Walking 5K has a separate registration and specific rule: participants must walk the entire race; running or jogging is not permitted. A registration price of $28.38 is shown for some registration items during the May 1 - Oct 25 period.
Course, services and results
The course is a wheel-measured route that starts in front of the parish hall, goes into Hagley Museum property, and returns to the parish hall. Amenities include race tee shirts, a snack bag for runners and walkers, and music. Timing uses MYLAPS BibTag chip timing provided by R2R Timing. Awards include overall and masters top finisher awards (scored by gun time) and age-group awards scored by chip (net) time; age groups run from 13 & under through 70 & over with top-3 awards. No dogs are allowed due to insurance liability. Bibs are non-transferable and registrations are non-refundable. Results and photos will be posted online after the event.
