Smith McMillan 5K
The Smith McMillan 5K takes place on October 24, 2026 at 101 School Road, Wilmington, DE 19803. The event is held in memory of siblings and benefits the financial aid endowment named for them.
The main distance is 5K. The program includes a free Kids Dash for children.
A long sleeve T-shirt is provided to all pre-registered entrants. Registration opens April 21, 2026 and closes October 24, 2026. The registration fee is $25.00.
Awards are given to Top Overall M/F; Top M/F in Alumnus, Faculty/Staff, and Walker categories; and top three M/F in the following age groups: 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
Sponsors who register by September 26 will be recognized at the event and listed on the long sleeve race T-shirt. Early sponsor registrations received by that date with payment will also be acknowledged on the event page and in the winter issue of Quaker Matters magazine, which is mailed to more than 6,500 members of the Friends School community.
