Bark in the Park - Providence Animal Center
Bark in the Park is held on Saturday, October 24 at Rose Tree Park in Media, PA. The event is presented by Providence Animal Center and runs rain or shine. It combines a run and walk with a Fall and Food Festival on site.

The festival portion includes a vaccine and microchipping clinic, dog contests, food trucks, local business vendors, raffle baskets, music, and arts and crafts. Participants who do not have a dog at home can choose a rent-a-dog option sponsored by the animal center.
Proceeds from the event support the Providence Animal Center lifesaving center; the organizer notes that funds raised go entirely to that work. Event rules require all dogs to be up-to-date on rabies vaccination with proof available on request. All dogs must remain on a leash and retractable leashes are not allowed.
