Morton Borough 5K
Morton Borough 5K is a community road race held in Morton, Pennsylvania, on a closed, clearly marked 3.1 mile course suitable for runners and walkers of all ages. The event includes post-race refreshments and an awards ceremony, with finisher medals provided to every participant. Overall male and female awards are presented, plus top-three awards in each age group.
The event features a separate Kid's Race of 0.2 mile that takes place after the 5K and provides a book to every child. Costumes are welcome for adults and children. The course is supported by more than 40 volunteers and carries a generous time limit of 1 hour, 30 minutes. The event is held rain or shine.
Guaranteed race t-shirts are available for registrations completed by Sept. 27th. All proceeds support the Morton community through the purchase of AEDs and improvements to Parks and Recreation.

Practical details include packet pick-up times at Morton Borough Hall gym: Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7:00 pm, and on race day starting at 7:00 am.
