Chocolate Chase 5K for Craniofacial Awareness
The Chocolate Chase 5K for Craniofacial Awareness takes place on May 17, 2026 in Crocker Park, Sacramento. The event raises funds for Faces of Tomorrow and includes running, walking, and youth activities. The finish area is at Crocker Park and a post-race venue is planned there.

- Superhero Kids Dash : ages 10 and under
The 5K course starts in front of the Crocker Art Museum, follows the Riverfront Promenade through Old Sacramento, continues along the river to Robert Matsui Water Park, and returns to the finish at Crocker Park. The one mile route follows the 5K course with a half mile turnaround.
Participant items and services include a short sleeved cotton t-shirt for race registrants, a shirt or cape for Superhero Dash participants, commemorative medals for finishers, See's candy bars and post race fruit and chocolate snacks. Age group awards are available for the 5K. Packet pick up is offered the day before at Fleet Feet and on race day at Crocker Park.
Course amenities noted by the organizer include a water aid station near the 5K turnaround, a first aid tent, bathroom facilities, stroller access from the back of the field, and service dog access only.
