The Lucky Run takes place in March and offers multiple in-person and virtual events. Distances include:

Kids Fun Runs: 1/2 mile and 1/4 mile (ages 1-12)
Virtual participant option

Entry for the 2.1K, 5K, 7K, and 10K includes a short-sleeve dri-blend t-shirt, a finisher medal, timing, eligibility for age group awards, and post-race refreshments. Entry to the Kids Fun Runs includes a finisher medal and post-race refreshments; a t-shirt may be available for an additional fee. Virtual participants receive a t-shirt, bib number, and finisher medal; packets are mailed via USPS.

Location, course and logistics

Events start and finish at Davis High School in North Davis, adjacent to Community Park. Loop courses run along city streets, bike paths, and through residential neighborhoods. The 2025 event was held in the gym parking lot off Oak Avenue. Bib and t-shirt pick up is handled on race morning near the start/finish area; pre-registered pick-up is available and ID is not required. A course map PDF is provided by the organizer.
