Overview
The 13th annual Kaiser Permanente Running of the Elk takes place on March 28, 2027 in Elk Grove, California. The event starts and finishes at District56, 8230 Civic Center Dr. The event supports the Elk Grove Youth Sports Foundation.
Distances offered include:
- 5K 3.1 miles, adult and youth divisions.
- 10K 6.2 miles, adult and youth divisions.
- Kids Fun Runs 1/2 and 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under.
The 5K and 10K are in person and are offered as runs or walks. Entry for those events includes a bib number, race timing, a microfiber t-shirt, a goody bag, and a finisher's medal. Published entry fees are USD 42 for adult entries and USD 32 for youth entries.
Kids Fun Runs are noncompetitive and are not timed or scored; finish rankings are not kept. Kids run entries include a cotton t-shirt, a goody bag, and a finisher's medal. The kids fun runs have a separate entry fee of USD 20. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
