Format and rules
The event follows the traditional backyard ultra format. Runners have one hour to complete each loop. Each new loop begins on the hour; runners must be in the starting corral at the bell to begin the next loop. Warnings are given 3, 2, and 1 minute(s) prior to the start of each loop. Rules include no assistance or aid after the bell until a loop is completed, no artificial aids including trekking poles, no non-participants on the course, and no leaving the course during a loop except for restrooms. Slower runners must allow passing. The winner is the last person to complete a loop; if no runner completes one more loop than all others, there is no winner.
Location, course and logistics
Loops take place on a route at Dry Creek Bike Trail and nearby Dry Creek Parkway. Each loop is 4.16 miles with about 30 ft of elevation gain. Course maps and GPX files are provided by the organizers. Volunteers are requested to support the event.
History and registration status
The event began in 2023 as a fatass run, became an official collaboration in 2024, operated under Singletrack Running in 2025, and later returned to Skybreaker Racing organization. Early registration has been opened in advance of permit approval; early registrants are to receive refunds if permits cannot be issued.
