Event overview
The Chirk 10k is a 10k road running event held on 12 July 2026. The route passes around Chirk Castle and runs on nearby country lanes. The course includes a mix of faster sections and some inclines and is run on fully closed roads for safety.
Logistics and race details
Race headquarters is at Caffi Wylfa. The start and finish are on Station Road next to Caffi Wylfa. Event parking is at Kronospan in Chirk, about a ten-minute walk from the start/finish area. The race has a 90-minute cut-off time. Spectators are asked to stay off the course until runners have passed and to follow marshal instructions. The minimum age for participants is 15 years.
Finish, prizes and partners
All finishers receive a medal, race goodies, and a family pass for Chirk Castle valued at £49. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers, plus seven age-group awards for both male and female categories.
