Quest of the White Wolf - Lake Lure, NC
Quest of the White Wolf is scheduled for January 9, 2027, at Lake Lure, NC. The event offers multiple trail distances to accommodate different race choices.

The course is marked with orange and reflective ribbon and yellow arrows. The stated elevation gain per loop is 7,000K. Trekking poles are allowed. Runners must wear bibs on the front of their shirt or shorts so they remain visible for the entire race. Weather can vary and may include rain and fog.
Aid station provisions include basic food items such as pickles, cereal, pretzels, candy, fruit, and bacon. Hydration options include water, Tailwind, and a variety of sodas. First aid supplies will be available at the aid station. If a participant withdraws, they should notify race staff.
The event uses a 25 Hours cutoff. Medals are awarded upon completion; medals are handmade pottery by BlueGill Pottery and each piece is unique. Additional event rules note that dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course unless a special exception is granted, entry fees are non refundable if the event is canceled, deferrals require contacting the race director, and unregistered participants are not permitted.
