Chilly Willy 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Albuquerque
The Chilly Willy event in Albuquerque offers road race distances at Mariposa Basin Park. Distances available include:

Chip timing is used for start and finish and the course is described as generally flat. Course layouts are: the 5K is out and back, the 10K is a double loop, and the half marathon is three loops.
Every participant receives a finisher medal. Overall and age-group awards are presented for each distance in five-year categories starting at 10 and under. Water stations are self-serve and positioned approximately every 1.5 miles; participants who prefer not to stop may want to carry personal hydration.
The longest distance requires maintaining about a 16 minute per mile pace to finish before the course closes. A virtual race option is available; virtual participants can submit results online and may be eligible for awards and event items, with results posted the Monday after the event date.
