Chilly Willy Duathlon
The Chilly Willy Duathlon is scheduled for February 15, 2026, at Fort De Soto Park, 3500 Pinellas Bayway S, St. Petersburg, FL. The event is USAT-sanctioned and includes individual, relay, and active military categories for both standard and long distances. The race program is limited to 500 entries.
Race distances
- Short Duathlon: Run 1 mile, Bike 10 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Long Duathlon: Run 3.1 miles, Bike 19 miles, Run 3.1 miles
There is a strict cutoff for the long course: all bikers must be off the road by 9:00 am; athletes unable to meet that cutoff are directed to the short course.
Services, rules, and logistics
The event is chip-timed and provides splits for each segment. Drafting marshals will be on the course and a set of USAT rules will be enforced by appointed staff. Awards are given three deep in each age group plus overall male and female awards. All athletes receive a long-sleeve event shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at PLAYTRI St. Petersburg; race-morning packet pickup and transition access are available at Fort De Soto. The organizer may cancel or reschedule the race for weather or emergency and does not offer refunds if the event is cancelled for those reasons.
