Overview
The Chili Bowls & Running Soles takes place on April 18, 2026, at Fox River Park in Waukesha, WI. The event offers multiple short-distance running and walking options and includes post-event provisions for finishers. Packet pickup begins on race morning. The event is managed and timed by Silver Circle Sports Events.

The three 5K events have an entry price of $35. The Little Pepper 1K has an entry price of $5.
Events, awards, and extras
All finishers receive a bowl of chili and a handcrafted finisher "woodle." Overall male and female winners receive custom awards. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in 5-year age groups starting at 0-14 for eligible distances. Walkers are timed but there are no age group awards in the Walk Division; walkers still receive a finisher woodle. Two hidden chilies on course can be returned to the finish for extra swag. A registration deadline is used to guarantee a race t-shirt.
Course and logistics
The run and walk use paved paths inside Fox River Park, a 257-acre park with woodlands, wetlands, and many wildflowers. Parking requires a park pass that must be purchased online; there are no in-person park passes and no parking along the road. The race uses chip timing with the timing chip located on the bib. RaceJoy is provided for live tracking and alerts. Volunteers receive a free entry to a future race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
