Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Dash and Bash takes place on May 16, 2026 in Gainesville, Florida at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (Stadium North Lawn), 157 Gale Lemerand Dr. The event comprises a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk around the University of Florida that passes by UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital and includes a post-race bash with entertainment, activities, community safety partners, and cheer zones along the route. The event supports Pediatric Trauma Services at UF Health and includes fundraising to benefit UF Health Shands Children's Hospital.
Logistics and race services
Entry is priced at $25 and the price increases after January 2, 2026. Packet pick-up is available at UF Health Professional Park (3300 SW Williston Rd., Room B107) on May 13–15 and also on race day at the site. Parking is available at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center parking lot and garage; the race starts and ends at the same location. The race uses chip timing with live results posted online; a provided custom chip is required for official times. Water is available on the course and at the finish. Qualified emergency medical professionals will be on hand at the start and finish.
Policies and awards
T-shirts and finisher medals are guaranteed for participants who register by May 1. Awards are given to the top male, female, and non-binary finishers in age groups from 10 & under through 66+. The event is rain or shine. Dogs are not permitted; strollers are allowed. There are no refunds and no entry transfers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
