Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Dash and Bash
The event was scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville. That date has been canceled and a new date has not been confirmed.
The program is built around a 5K (3.1 miles) course that routes through the University of Florida and passes by UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Along the route community partners will staff cheer zones. A post-race bash is planned to coincide with National Trauma Awareness Month in collaboration with the Pediatric Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach team; the bash will include entertainment, activities, community safety partners, and a post-race awards presentation.
Chip-timing will be used and each competitor is required to wear the provided custom timing chip. Results will be posted live on the race registration website. A water station will be available on course and at the finish. Qualified emergency medical professionals will be positioned at the start and finish areas.
Finisher medals and t-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by May 1. Awards will be presented to top male, female, and non-binary finishers in these age groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-18, 19-24, 25-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, and 66 and over.
Packet pickup is available at UF Health Professional Park, Room B107, and on race day at the event site. Parking is available at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center parking lot and garage. The event follows a rain or shine policy. The organizers do not offer refunds and do not allow entry transfers. Dogs are not permitted; strollers are allowed with consideration for other participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
