Run With Purpose - Newberry, FL
Run With Purpose takes place on March 28, 2026 in Newberry, Florida, at 104 SW 131st. The event is organized by Project One45, a Gainesville-area non-profit that supports traumatic injury survivors and their families. Proceeds from the event will fund rehab support and other recovery-related costs.
The event offers multiple participation options:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1.6K (1 mile)
- Virtual 5K (complete run or walk remotely)
A virtual registration option allows participants to complete the distance from any location; virtual entries have slightly higher fees to cover shipping and do not receive finisher medals or top awards. Race shirts are included for many registration tiers; registering by February 14, 2026 guarantees a race shirt. A limited supply of shirts and medals will be available for those who register after February 14 or on race day. Bib pick-up will be available in front of the route on race day, and a day-of registration booth will be on site.
On-site vendors include DonutNV, which will sell mini donuts and drinks with a portion of proceeds benefiting trauma survivors. Runner items listed for the in-person events include an official race shirt and a finisher medal where applicable.

- Standard (02/01–02/28): 5K $40, 1-mile $25
- Late (03/01–03/28): 5K $45, 1-mile $30
