Escape the Swamp Triathlon 2027
The Escape the Swamp Triathlon is a collegiate club triathlon held on March 14, 2027 at the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, FL, with swim segments in the Florida Pool. The event location is 250 Gale Lemerand Dr, Gainesville, FL 32611.
Two race formats are offered:
- Super Sprint: 250 m swim, 3.1 miles bike, 1 mile run
- Sprint: 350 m swim, 9.3 miles bike, 3.1 miles run
Registration opens on October 31, 2026 and closes on December 30, 2026. Published entry fees are $55 for the Super Sprint and $75 for the Sprint.
Each entry fee is considered a donation to the University of Florida TriGators Triathlon Club and supports the club's competition activities. The organizer states there are no refunds and no transfers under normal circumstances; if the 2027 event cannot occur, registrants will receive a refund or a deferral to a later TriGators race.
Participants registered before March 1, 2027 receive an event race shirt. All finishers receive a unique Escape the Swamp Triathlon finisher medal. Age group awards follow five year increments, from 9 and under up to 75 and older. Alumni have access to a special discount code and an alumni meetup zone with food at the event.
