Child Advocacy Center at BestSelf 5K & Fun Walk : Delaware Park, Buffalo NY
This community running event features an in-person 5K run, a 1.3 mile family fun walk (approximate distance), and a virtual 5K option with mailed medal. Both in-person events start from a shared start location near the Buffalo Zoo parking area; packet pickup and race day registration take place at Parkside Lodge in Delaware Park. Plenty of street parking is available near the lodge.
Registration is available online until the race start, with race day bib pickup at Parkside Lodge. Optional race shirts are offered at registration through 4/19/26; shirts are priced at $15 and will be available at packet pickup. Published entry fees include separate pricing for the 5K, the 1.3 mile walk, a family walk rate, and a virtual 5K option.
Timing and finish-line services use Jaguar Electronic RFID timing provided by Race Management Solutions, with real-time results and downloadable finisher certificates and finish-line photos available via the results platform. Post-race refreshments and a complimentary signature donut will be available in the Parkside Lodge.
