Event
The DENFIT ULTRA takes place on Sat May 2 - Sun May 3, 2026 in Colden, NY at Buffalo Ski Center (7414 State Rd). The event includes the following distances:

Course and logistics
The course is a 10k loop that runs up and down the ski slopes. The route is not lit; it will be marked with reflective flagging and lawn flags. A large tent at the base of the ski hills will provide food, bathrooms, and a place to store or retrieve gear. Headlamps are mandatory and are required until 7am. Organizers note there will be significant elevation on the course and possible natural obstacles such as low branches or fallen trees. The venue general manager reported there may still be snow at the top of the hills.
Time limits and lap counts are specified for each distance: the 100k has an 18-hour limit to complete 10 laps, and the 50k has a 10-hour limit to complete 5 laps.
Awards and finish items
Finisher medals are described as being no less than 7 inches in size. Additional awards include custom special-edition spears for the top ten male and top ten female finishers in each distance, and further prizes for the top three male and top three female in both events.
